For as long as I can remember I've been in love with the elements. I started sailing at a young age, but this was soon followed by more adrenaline driven water sports. Due to the passing of my mother I needed a release and at the age of 9 windsurfing came at the right time. Not only did I enjoy this sport where you could ride over the water at incredible speeds, it also provided me with an escape from reality. When riding out there I don't have any time to think about what's happening in the world, it's just me and the elements.

At the age of 13 I started kiteboarding. To fly over the water and through the sky provides an unmatched feeling. It's no wonder I quickly got addicted to this sport and wanted to spend all my free time in the water. Every summer I would go to Workum in the Netherlands to teach kitesurfing at Kitemobile and work at Core 'n More surfshop. Here they taught me how to teach and I quickly learned that I could make good money like this.

The moment I finished high school at the age of 17 I decided to travel the world for a few years and teach on the way to earn my money. Three years later I came to the conclusion that I could make kiteboarding my life after getting a 1st place at the Red Bull boven N.A.P.

In the past years I've been building my social media audience and global exposure by creating content in the form of photos and videos. I do this by traveling the world whilst searching for the most extreme and dreamy locations. Places I often visit are: South-Africa, Mauritius, Spain, Portugal and many more.
